Our Spring/Summer 09 collection will be finally hitting the stores in the end of January. The entire collection was produced as limited editions so most shops already have a waiting list for some of the items seen our SS09 photo shoot. I loved referencing classic Americana for this collection because it really seemed to fit the spirit of the times. Below you can get an idea of some of the visual references we used as inspiration.

SSO9 Spotlight
For the spring I really wanted to expand on the classic JBK cross hat. Vintage American motorcycles and racecars inspired the entire collection so we had the leather perforated by a factory that mainly works on leather seats for luxury automobiles. The JBK scroll and cross are cut from buffalo leather and then hand embossed. I really wanted create the feel of a luxury hood emblem so we added chunky sterling silver pieces on the sides and top. To date, this is probably one of my favorite hats we have ever done.
